Description The book focuses on learning styles and strategies in the process of foreign language (FL) learning. The main goals are to provide FL professionals with a detailed insight into individual learners’ intrapersonal differences and widen their understanding of FL learning processes as a base for more effective FL teaching and the development of learners’ potentials. The authors summarize the state-of-the-art theoretical knowledge, apply it to FL learning and provide readers with resources for more detailed study. As the overall objective is to link theory and practice, the main focus is on the application of the knowledge to FL teaching in our educational environment as well as on developing learners’ metacognitive awareness and autonomy.
