Description | Novel synthesis of phosphosilicates and hybrid inorganic-organic materials with the Si–O–P skeleton was executed by non-hydrolytic sol-gel method based on condensation reactions with ester elimination. Silicon tetraacetate and tris(trimethylsilyl)phosphate are used as precursors. Hybrid organic-inorganic materials are obtained by changing the molecular precursors to methyltriacetoxysilane, dimethyldiacetoxysilane, phenyltriacetoxysilane, diphenyldiacetoxysilane, bis(trimethylsilyl)cyclohexylphosphonate and bis(trimethylsilyl)phenylphosphonate. The products were characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis TG/DSC-FTIR, PXRD, ICP-OES, 29Si a 31P CP MAS NMR spectroscopy and N2 adsorption-desorption experiments. The volatile byproducts were analyzed by 1H, 29Si and 31P NMR spectroscopy and GC/MS. |
