Description The chapter centres on research into gender stereotypes in EFL. Fundamental terms and concepts are introduced as well as the main areas of gender bias in teaching as described in literature. The chapter presents the author’s system of categories used in content analysis as well as the first results of interpretive analysis. It focuses on the pros and cons of the chosen methodological approach.
