We focus on research in the field of identities administration, management of access and authentication on both national and international level.

What We Do and Collaborate on?

we collaborate with the CESNET association on research in the area of AAI (Authorisation and Authentication Infrastructure)
solving of AAI issues on national, as well as international projects where MU is a partner; often also overlapping other scientific communities (such as ELIXIR, CEITEC, Westlife, Edirex)
representing MU in national and transnational associations, projects, and activities related to AAI
development and maintenance of ecosystem Perun for the needs of identities administration and access management for MU and its partners

Our Projects

ELIXIR AAI

We take responsibility for modelling, development, and maintenance of authentication and authorisation infrastructure including user administration and access management in the European scientific infrastructure ELIXIR, whose task is to create environment for research in the fields of natural scientists.

LifeScience AAI

The evolution of ELIXIR AAI, which encompasses providing infrastructure for managing access to 13 other research infrastructures in a unified manner.

BBMRI-ERIC AAI

We take responsibility for modelling, development, and maintenance of authentication and authorisation infrastructure including user administration and access management in the European scientific infrastructure BBMRI-ERIC oriented on research with biological samples placed in bio-ampoules.

CESNET eINFRA AAI

In collaboration with CESNET, we’re working on development and maintenance of complete authentication and authorisation infrastructure for the Czech national eInfrastructure. We’re developing the software Perun within this cooperation.
