| Popis | This paper describes the process of the construction of the GIS of traditional Czech folk culture between 1750 – 1900. Our project is the first that collects records about all the aspects of folk culture in the Czech Republic systematically. We started with the design of a data model well-suited for heterogeneous folk-culture metadata. At present, we have about 35,000 records in the database, an editing application, and a web map presentation with spatiotemporal filtering written in Google Closure and OpenLayers 3. |
