Future distribution models of endangered wetlands ecosystems under different climate scenarios will be built using data from partially managed databases at the Department of Botany and Zoology (European Mire Vegetation Database, European Vegetation Archive, ReSurveyEurope) and unpublished data of European wetland researchers. Built models are essential to understanding the response of the wetlands ecosystem to global warming. Primary outcomes will be maps of the future distribution of endangered wetland ecosystems under different climate scenarios.
