Cílem aktivity CERIT-SC v letech 2014 a 2015 je zajistit na toto období udržitelnost projektu OP VaVpI s identifikačním kódem CZ.1.05/3.2.00/08.0144 a názvem CERIT Scientific Cloud (CERIT-SC) a pokračovat v činnostech tímto projektem zahájených. Konkrétně centrum CERIT-SC bude pokračovat v provozu a údržbě instalované výpočetní techniky a úložných kapacit a garantovat jejich zpřístupnění uživatelům samostatně i prostřednictvím MetaCentra. V období 2014 a 2015 nebude kapacita dále rozšiřována, investiční prostředky budou využity primárně na obnovu nejstarší stávající technologie.
